What I would do is take off from shore or on a boat dock and land by having someone grab it from the boat (be careful) and press/hold a+ b+ pause and the motors will shut off

If you are flying in an area with a lot of wifi interference this may be part of the problem. Another reason is the antenna angle (file attached) If neither of these help or you are already doing this you can buy some 3rd party antennas. The alfa ones have good results for a low price...
