Gimbal will not compensate the jerk moves... Follow me its not perfect in any aircraft yet... But is what it is...

18 months of development to this... One of the most important parts of the aircraft its not properly implemented... This should made people think before order a solo... Just saying.

If you want to capture aerial video now just return the solo and get a P3, if you want to miss the summer flying wait for the gimbal. I think for 999$ the p3a is a no brainer, you can say the 3dr solo its best in some things but either the P3A is a muh better deal, the best deal now. Link...

Not that good in my opinion.. Far from a P3 gimbal stability, very far.

Have you used a I1 or P3 radio? It feells very well in hand and the precision od the sticks for me its in pair with an Taranis gimbal sticks, very precise and nice. Its a very professional radio for a RTF.

Like i said, in a hard crash even if the solo gimbal survives will not be the same, its just a very sensitive device... But stay with your opinion... After all the best aerial videos in this aircraft size i saw are from Phantoms and not 3DR ones... I think that says enough for now. ;)

Im not beeing negative but lets face the facts... Its cheaper yet to replace the P3 gimbal and camera unit than both gopro and gimbal and non fisheye lens (if you have them)...

And if you need both on a Solo its 900$... P3 = 539$.

I think you dont have any experience with this type of sensitive products as a gimbal, first hard crash with the solo either and the gimbal will not be the same ever, a gimbal is a very sensitive device. Both will break on a hard crash, not a hard landing, ive seen some P3 had hard landings and...

Better in what really? I will stop the offtopic but just show me a awesome video created with a solo, i will show you 1000 better videos made with the P3, no mods used to get them, no fisheye removal... With a 999$ unit ready to fly with camera and everything (except the smart device). This fix...
