    Ive wondered the same thing. I have flown 99% without GoPro and have never had GPS issues. I should test it more with the GoPro but just not interested in rolling video without Gimbal.

    Do Don't know how fast the phantom is, but I got 51 out of the Solo today... I bought my Solo to do both... Fly and Footage. That is what I love about this machine. I think it does both extremely well. We will see when the gimbal comes out!

    Solo Poll

    I have had no problems. It usually takes 2-3 minutes for GPS. One day I got nearly instant lock. Had to stop flying due to rain. After rain in locked again within one minute. Second battery took about 2 minutes. Been on vacation for the past 8 days, so have not updated.

    Mad skills!! I have only done flips on the little copters. Have been working up the nerve to try it. Just full stick till it flips and then back to center??
