My accessory port stopped working. I suspected damage from recently accessing the hdmi port on the mainboard, so I opened her up and found broken pins (at least 1 and 2) on the AP ribbon cable. I want to attempt to repair the broken connections. Any suggestions on tackling this job? The pins are...
I posted about this a while back. The solution is to roll back the firmware to v3. That's the last version supported by Solo.

All the work I've put in to reducing vibes is paying off. Thanks to users here. I didn't feel the need to use any post stabilization even with 10 mph wind. 3DR Solo, GPH4 Black, ND8, 4K 30p. Some shots from a handheld GH3 too.
@RichWest , I share your obsession with reducing vibes. I've been following this forum for 2 years now since getting my first Solo in hopes of finding the silver bullet. I followed your remedy for the isolators/ dampeners and the results were encouraging. The data cable does seem to be the last...
How did you mount them in the balancer? I couldn't figure out how to prevent wobbling when I used the both the original rod (with the spring) and the solo custom rod.

I'm not talking about cropping as it relates to the sensor. This is crazy image distortion/ cropping of the HDMI output. Anyway, I can confirm here that downgrading to firmware 3.0 fixes the issue. All is well.
It definitely did it in 4K wide and 2.7K medium. I don't think I tested 2.7K Wide yet. Stretched aspect ratios also happen in 1080 when the frame rate is over 30.
Update: I'm now noticing that when switching from 2.7K Wide to Medium FOV from the app, there is no change in cropping during preview.
