I just picked a random cable when ordering. I used the Solo gps cable, but this requires cutting off the connector that plugs into the Solo gps. Then I cut off the connector on the new gps and then spliced them together. Follow this guide, but be careful you splice the correct wires together...

I just replaced my gps with the $30 mini uBlox M8N. Worked like a charm. First flight I was getting 15-17 satellites and hdop below 1 (as low as .6). And I was flying at around -10 C.
