I am pretty sure you already turned it off but just in case, make sure the wi-fi is turned off on your GoPro . Also, make sure you got the most recent update on your GoPro. If it doesn't work I would try to reset the setting on the camera.

It was setup as "No Limits" when I was testing at the security place but now I set back to 395 ft to make sure I am flying under the limit allowed for security purposes; however, the issue still occurs even setup below (395ft) of the limit allowed.

You are right. I am so disappointed with SOLO. I have a Phantom 2 and I never had any problems. Now I have learned the lesson.
