Forgive me as I guess I'm not clear on your first paragraph. Will there be some functionality that will no longer work if I load 3.5.4 on a stock cube? Great on the fact I can manually load 3.5.4. In this case, from another thread, I would install OpenSolo which installs 1.5.4 on my stock cube...

Just checked this and with code C20SPRING it can be had for $60. I already have a Zenpad for my Solo and thought about this for my toddler but the low res (only 720P), dim display, and chunky processing steered me away. Still, for $60 with 4G LTE, it could be ok for a Solo with a sunscreen.
