You might not have said that had you owned a SOLO on June 16th, 2015 like a lot of us did. Todays SOLO and the one back then, well, the only thing that is pretty much the same is it's still all black. :-)

Probably an overload of the motors. Possibly the HDMI cable binding the gimbal internally. Had it happen until I switched to the "ribbon" cable and circumcised the other cable. Never had a problem since.
