Yes that's my understanding to. The appeal of a hexacopter is it won't drop out of the sky if you loose one motor. Kind of an "insurance" against your investment...Control unit with monitor is good also fly time...so many choices...???? But at this stage can't find one that ticks all the boxes...

Well it sounds like 3DR are trying to keep customers happy problem must be lack of quality control before the Solo is despatched.... There's hope for them yet....

So dissapointed in the " dissapointing" views on Solo, as the software concept to allow it to fly along " a line" away that allows you to concentrate on the video is a great idea. Also the special camera operations available to the GoPro camera tells me they are onto a great concept. I also...
