I am not sure how it's a shame Rex? Aside from 3DR just taking an unfortunate change of course and not selling our beloved Solo to us anymore, other than that good for them! It keeps them around to keep supporting the consumer side of Solo like they have been graciously doing!

I think the 5 bay charger WAS something that was planned but that site to sign up showing your interested is VERY old and I don't believe it is even monitored anymore. So sadly, even though I too signed up as I was interested when I first got my first Solo and found that web page, unfortunately...

I don't think that they will keep producing our beloved Solo for the general public and this new funding will just solidify them for continuing their plan for commercial use only under the Site Scan Bundle.

I spoke to one of the 3DR engineers (former engineer now like so many other guys and girls unfortunately) but I messaged one of the engineers and he got back to me and said he'd help me get the list of parts and 3D printable files needed to build the 3DR Backpack into a multi battery charger...
