I constantly get 18 or better up here in Northern AZ, got at least that today flying in gusts of 17+, gotta be the battery itself I'm thinking, PS, Have 3 batteries and all get about that.

None that I have noticed, maybe a minute or 2 less flight time, have XK Detect 380, DJI 2+, UpAir one, and some other quads, all seem to fly ok at 7200 ft altitude. ;)

Took my Solo out for flight today, got alittle cocky and tried distance flight, big huge field and woods to north. I live up in Northern AZ and have lots of space to fly. Yup, better home then waiting to see if its gonna last you, I also do the 30% return flight and no problems if out a ways.

I got a refurb also from Best Buy, little scratch on battery but other then that no problems, will probably get another just for parts if needed or whatever.

You do know that you can put an action camera on it and have FPV too, just make sure camera has a mini HDMI plug in on it, no camera control but hey, start camera and go flying! works with Solo app and Solex.

I picked one up and have had no problems with it, biggest headache I had so far was getting a compatible tablet to work with it, got a Samsung and all is well!

If I buy the Solex app and install it on 1 device can I also install it on another? Like a phone and also a tablet or do I have to buy 2 apps to do this?

I have a Motorola Droid phone, version 4.4.4 that I can not get to download the Solo app, when I try in the app store, get a message that I need version 4.3 or better, any help on this would be much appreciated.

As I don't own a Go-Pro yet, what other FPV systems will work on the 3DR, just want a basic FPV to fly with now and look to expand later, what would be a reasonable wi-fi camera and monitor to look at? Also distance would be in neighborhood of 300 to 500 meters.
