I've used Tower a few time and never had this problem, however I've always made my last waypoint a Return to Home. Once it goes into RTH, I can take control by pressing the FLY button if I don't want it to land.

That sounds like a fabulous idea! I have had GPS issues and have been looking to this forum for some easy mods as I am not that good with "tinkering". I have already ordered the M8N and am excited to get it. Thank you for your suggestion. :)

I attempted this mod last night and ran into a problem. I pinched the connector on the GPS module very carefully and before I even pulled on the connector, it came off the board. Any ideas how to fix this or where to buy a new GPS module?

I recently had a similar experience, right after Solo recovered the video stopped but I stood there for a second of 2 waiting for it to crash but it stabilized quickly and waited for me to continue flying. :oops::)
