    My Hero 3+ seems to power off with the vehicle, but not on. The tech support person asked the same thing. I have not gotten a response back to understand what to expect. I asked if charge level on the camera makes a difference.

    I have noticed that if you power up the camera before anything else, things seem to go better with respect to the video feed.

    I went through this process shortly after the 2.4 upgrade. It was not a big deal. I did have to through the remind process before everything was kosher again. In my case, the controller stopped accepting connections from vehicle and tablet.

    Returns to 3dr.

    I encountered the same exact thing. I might have been successful demanding price protection against the 3dr store, but not against Best Buy. In the end, I decided that the frustration wasn't worth it. A bit bummed that I missed the battery promotion.
