I think for $599 your pretty much hedged against anything. At least thats the way I looked at it when I put my money down. Drone technology is moving too fast to expect anything else imo. 12 months from now, we're going to look at the Solo and P4 as obsolete.

i'm shopping ipad mini 2 lte on CL and seeing around 200 - 225. I think the mini 2 is a good device - I have the wifi version. The other option would be a iphone 6s plus if your close to needing a phone upgrade and don't mind lugging around a large phone.

If your in a clear area and its taking 5m to get a gps lock then you should contact 3dr support and send them the logs. Maybe take a picture of the area you were launching from too.

Update. I chatted with 3DR support and 16.60 is the expected voltage of a fully charged battery. .20v is electronics bleed (assuming smart battery electronics). Good to have the confirmation though.

Not understanding that. Mine records at 4k and still streams live video. You have a lot of issues going on there. Your GPS issue is the biggest priority. Many of the issues you listed are probably due to a poor GPS lock. Use the live chat feature if you can I've had good luck with that...

oh ok - I took the original question at face value. Your now asking about percentage in the 3dr app, not the actual voltage of the battery.

I haven't seen any evidence of this in my testing. I suppose it could be true, but it sounds suspicious. Even if there is a buffer i'm confident it isn't 3 volts worth.
