Hey sorry for the necropost guys but now that I have my solo back after over a month long RMA I have one last question. How did you secure the nut inside of the prop hub? was it just glue or some special adhesive?

Just an update, this morning I looked in my email and saw a new one from 3DR. It seems as though they may actually be shipping out my new Solo and gimbal. I have a tracking number for Fedex, however it only says label has been printed. Something similar to this happened when I ordered the GPS...

I haven't heard anything on mine yet planning on bugging them again on Tuesday.

Just chatted with them last night, they claim they are still out of stock on both but "hoping to get more from the manufacture soon"

Same here Nick, about a month and every time I chat with them is the same old bullshit, we are out of stock and don't know when or if we will get more deal with it. It is really getting on my nerves.

Their website will probably show in stock, at least it did when I ordered my gps shield and then contacted support when it took so long and they said they were out of stock and on back order for about 2.5 weeks.

I am yes because when I was on support chat with them I asked which product was on back order the gimbal or the Solo and they said "both"

They did not, they told me that they have no estimated time for the products to be in stock. It seems as though they are out of everything. Before my RMA I had ordered a GPS shield and that was on back order as well and now the Solo and Gimbal are too. It really makes me wonder what is going on...

Hello all, just to let anybody know that has an RMA in process 3DR is currently out of stock on both the Solo unit as well as the gimbal... Very disappointed in this.

So my question is, it states in the short article that there are no connectors or ports in the back. This should mean that it will not work with the current gimbal correct because the Hero 4 and earlier have the connections in the back as well as the HDMI on the side.

Definitely start at balancing props and checking the wiring again. I had a similar issue, however couldn't troubleshoot because of an unrelated flyaway :( All depending on what GoPro you are using balancing the gimbal might not be a bad idea either.

Unfortunately that isn't the case, I have viewed on many different computers most of them high end personal built gaming rigs and an couple imacbook pros. Seemed shaky on all of them to me. Thanks though.
