I can confirm that this also works with the replacement wifi cards, and it resulted in a stronger signal for me. I have yet to take her out with this and compare between the settings, but my RSSI is now much lower overall.

I have also had no issues with the update, and both my cards are changed, as well as my SSID.

I have done the update with M8N installed, and it went through without a hitch. Got 16 sats and 1.4 hdop in my backyard in 20 seconds from power up. Flies well. No issues.

Just did the update with the M8N inside and wifi cards. No issues. Didn't have to re-pair solo either. Took her out to the backyard, got 16 sats,1.4 hdop within 20 seconds. Took off and all seemed very stable. Will play more when the gimbal arrives :)

Thanks for doing this! Did you have to pair Artoo and Solo again? Was this just a drop-in replacement? The MikroTik R11e-2hnd I found seem to be low-power versions or shipped from Germany? Where did you get yours if I may ask?

You need a threaded balancing rod (can use the ones made for P2/P3 - look on ebay, about $10), and a prop balancer. It's fairly easy to do. Look on YouTube for a quazillion videos on how to do that. I use liquid tape to add weight.
