I lost a single LED cover in a crash a while back, but noticed they were not on the 3DR website for sale. There is a body kit that includes them, but it was too expensive. after contacting 3DR tech support they said they are available for sale, just not on the website. So I suspect other parts...

How does someone try to get FAA approval for such an event? Is there a form, or person to talk to?

Thanks again for the video. I swapped out the transmitter card only so far and went from just under a mile, to 1.2miles. Once I get the time and motivation, I will dig into the solo itself and swap that one.

anything that YOU do that causes damage. If YOU crash it....your fault, not warranty. If YOU modify it so that it automatically crashes.....your fault, not warranty. It's really quite simple folks. but if you are concerned, just fly it stock for 30 days (that's really not that long) no...
