I took my solo out for its first flight with the gimbal this morning, the video was nice and stead, although after a change in direction the Gimbal was very slow to rite itself back to level? so I get a couple seconds of a crooked shot after a turn or change of direction.
How do I fix this??

There is a setting on the Solo app that lets adjust the speed of the Gimbal.
Look it up. You need to be connected "Solo + Controller + Solo App. for the option to be available.

So I made the adjustments in the Solo app and set the Gimbal speed to its max.
I filmed this morning with 2 batteries, on the first battery I was still getting the horizon very crooked.
I put in my second battery with no issues, I was turning very aggressively with both sticks and doing 360's and would stop abruptly and the horizon was perfectly level.
I'm not sure what to think really? I don't know if the Gimbal needed a little time to sync in properly or what, all I know is that my second set of footage was basically flawless as far as the horizon line goes.

I will shoot some more this evening as well, hopefully everything stays as it did on my second battery today, I will let everyone know.

Well, it seems you got a handle on the problem.
The Horizon issue should work it self out?
Of course, setting the Gimbal seep to slow, should produce a smoother capture.
