will the solo work with no go pro because i have the hero session 4 and if not will it work with an adapter to micro usb

The Solo will fly fine with no camera at all, I was practicing flying manually with it before my GoPro arrived from Peau Productions.
You just won't have any video to look at while flying, but you can fly with just the controller and no tablet, too.

I don't know if the other camera can be adapted to use with the Solo, I'm sure others will chime in for you.

Just don't fly with the gimbal "empty", if you have one installed. But like Ron said you don't need a camera installed to fly.

No, you can't use the session as the firmware is different.
