Waiting for solo

Just got new solo. Can't seem to get controller to find drone. Controller just says waiting for solo. Also doesn't show the wifi as being available. Any suggestions?

pull the plug on the controller battery for 10 seconds
if that don't work a factory reset might be in order, but if you are new to all that grab a chat with support on Monday

Had the same issue when I got my new Solo last week. Unboxed it and couldn't get any wifi from the controller, just said waiting for solo. After reading some here on the forum it sounded like a hardware issue with the controller itself. Tore it apart and sure enough, the microsd card in the controller wasn't pushed in all the way. Fixed that and all is good now.
