So, I had a chance to use a preinstalled gimbal version of the Solo and noticed the sliding wheel that controls the pitch speed of the gimbal was ratcheted. Mine is smooth so it came as a surprise. What's considered "normal?"

Also, this had the Rev B GPS and I found it didn't really seem any different than the Rev A on mine. Maybe I have a great Rev A on my machine? I know plenty were just fine but have found mine seems to lock quite fast and once in the air, get up to 12 sats regularly.

There is no such thing as a ratcheting roller for the gimbal speed. That would more than likely be a defect than a feature.

Okay, just making sure as I was only used to a smooth motion as opposed to the one I felt on this one. Reminds me of my old Futaba 9C airplane transmitter throttle stick before I put fuel tubing on the metal indent to smooth out the stick back when I flew tricopters 6 years ago.
