So...You Don't Have To Register Your Drone

Good news...at least for now. Our government overreaches...hobbyists have flown radio control models for decades. Quadcopters are no different.
Call it a drone though and watch otherwise sane people flip out.

Spin and marketing. Punish those that actually cause harm and leave the rest of us alone.

I'm not sure there's a direct correlation. Like I said before, there are positive aspects of registration. It's the forced part that I take umbrage with.
 
Score one for drone pilots. Maybe. The Feds are trying real hard to make it work for all concerned. Registration was one way to trace ownership back to the jerks who compromise safe and responsible drone ops.
