Should I buy the 3DR Solo or Phantom 3 standard?

Hey guys! I'm wondering if you guys think that the 3DR solo is superior camera platform to the phantom 3 Standard, or not. I'm really considering the solo now that it's $400 for the drone, gimbal, 2 batteries, AND a carrying case. I think it's a great value since I already have a hero 4 black as well. So, is the quality of the solo better than the phantom in your opinions? If so, seems like a steal at such a low price.

I cant speak for the 3, only have experience with the 2, and now I own a Solo

I'm sure there's lost of minor pros and cons of either depending on personal preferences, but at this 'semi-pro' level of devices, they're pretty close.

As twitchy said... at this price and as a hero owner, you wont be disappointed.

My reasons: (mainly because I like to 'tinker')
- open source OS
- non proprietary radios (some would argue a disadvantage, but not to me) that are minipci and upgradable
- open pixhawk controller
- accessory connector (again open)
- price
- DJI feels just a little too 'apple' for me

Just made my decision and I'm going with the Solo. Just ordered the bundle off Best Buy with an extra battery, props, and a carrying case for $399! So cheap
