Took this one around noon today from the Carkeek Park model aircraft field in Seattle, WA. It's one of only two parks legal to fly in the city of Seattle. This shows Piper Creek flowing into the sound. I liked it, thought you all might too, enjoy!

Thanks Chuck! I'm pretty sure I was in the 200' vicinity for this photo.

When I first glanced at it, it almost looked like a satellite pic. Then looking more closely, you could see details that showed it was taken at a lower altitude. Pretty cool.....

Is there a designated area to fly at Carkeek or can you fly in the entire park.

I'll be heading to Seattle in late August and will be bringing Solo along.

Also, where is the other Seattle Park to fly in?

I wish we could fly at Gas Works.

Yes, there's a model aircraft field at Carkeek. And I agree, Gasworks would be awesome!
