Preflight update issues

I need some help guys my new Solo is going through the preflight update and the controller is loading the update and the it says waiting for solo for a second and then it just drops out and starts loading again and again and again. But the Solo goes through the update and the lights change colour
I've left the controller going for 30-45mins but nothing changes. Does anyone one have any solutions?

Here's what worked for me:
1. Do a factory reset.Factory Reset | 3DR Site Scan - Commercial Drone Platform
2. When it goes to "updating system", go through the pairing the controller procedure: Pairing the Controller | 3DR Site Scan - Commercial Drone Platform
3. Make sure the solo app is on and follow the update procedure:
I had to slow down and follow the instructions to the letter. There are a couple of youtube videos that helped me understand what to expect and when. I had to start over several times to get it right.

thanks John but ive tried it for a few days but I've been in touch #DR hep desk and they have said that the firmware maybe be fault and to pull the SD card out of the controller and try it again
