New battery Issue?

I have a new 3dr Solo battery that has never been used. Charged it up, but after unplugging from the charger, the left LED blinks about a 100 times, pauses, and does it again. I tried pressing the power button which cycles all lights, but then goes back to flashing the left LED for about 100 times.

Any ideas why it is doing this and what I can do?

I have no idea what would cause that but I would return it if you can. Obviously it's broken and they can't be repaired.

I have a battery with a solid center LED always on, still useable.

I contacted 3DR with a log after a flight, stating this, we went back and forth, I sent pictures and they finally send me a new one.

I'd say just try to get a replacement.

Mine is just like Glenn's, 2nd flight, flew to 29%, plug in charger and one light keeps blinking and the charge led stays green

Tried the other charge from my spare Solo and same result. Power button seems to be working. Getting ready to tear it apart but will first try a higher voltage charger. Since the led shows green, I suspect its not the battery but the other circuitry inside but obviously don't know..
