Connection Option: Mission Planner and Pixhawk as passthough

I am trying to connect wirelessly (using WiFi) to analyze ublox component. I have been using the instructions in the link below but have reached a dead end.

UBlox GPS Configuration — Copter documentation

I have done the following:
  • connect to Pixhawk to my pc
  • connect to Mission Planner
  • on flight data screen I pressed Ctrl F and then I selected "MAVserial pass"
  • Now when I open u-center version 8.22 and select Receiver the TCP Client/Network Connection window does not exist to allow me to set Address to "localhost" or set Port to "500"
Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

When connecting via TCP you need to make a new connection first by the following menu tree Receiver>Network Connection>New.

Once the "New Connection" window opens type the following into the address tcp://localhost:500 you should now be able to connect to the GPS unit via TCP

Hope this helps...

Please note the default solo port config of the GPS unit does not give much Satellite data to the U-Center, to get the full Satellite information you need to change the port protocol out to "UBX+NMEA" . DO NOT fly in this protocol out config, solo does not like it (too much data)
