Mission Planner Gimbal weirdenss

I wondered if anyone experienced the solo Gimbal twitching when connected to Mission Planner, particularly when downloading using the 'Download DataFlash' tool.

My experience is when I connect Mission Planner everything seems fine, but as soon as the DataFlash connects, the Gimbal starts twitching, worsening when downloading begins.

I have checked the usual stuff, including wire connections and placements to no avail.

Anyone got any theories to why this is happening??

Its a lot faster (at least 6x) to use winscp (if in windows) or another program to retrieve logs via the command line rather than mission planner. Mission planner also times out after a log or two. There are several tutorials on here for retrieving logs if you search for it. But yes something messes up with the gimbal when retrieving logs via MP. One quick way around it is to turn Solo upside down when doing that (sitting on motor pods), which will disable the gimbal.
