Yes, I did search before posting and didn't see anything too recent nor really related.
I just upgraded to a LG G Pad 7.0 VK-410 (not the newer F7.0). It's running Android 5.0.2. It will not run the Solo app saying that Solo app is not compatible with that model. That surprised me in that I was using a LG G Pad 8.3 which worked fine with Solo and Solex but I wanted something a little smaller so I got the 7. It's a great size for flying and it's wifi and 4G LTE (as is the 8.3).
So, a little warning about that tablet and a lot of praise for Solex. If you haven't made the jump to Solex, seriously consider it. To me, it's part of the reason the great little Solos still have a future.
