Left stick not working

Can anyone tell me why the pan left pan right stick is not working?
I can go up and down but can not rotate.

first thing i did was cut everything off and turned it back on. That did not help.
then I unplugged the battery to the controller and reinstalled it. No help

Appreciate any suggestions. I imagine its something simple but can't figure it out.

What mode are you flying in? Just take off with the Fly button?
I can think of two things that might help.
Connect to a PC running Mission Planner and do a radio calibration. I think I saw a thread in this forum where that helped.
Second you could open the controller and remove and replace the SD card. That sometimes fixes controller issues.

Hi Andrew. I fly with an iPad mini 4 so I have never used Mission planner. And I was not aware there was an SD card in the controller!!!! I always, unless just for fun, fly with gps lock.
