Ya know that foam thingy that holds the gimbal/Gopro in place when it's not in use? Well.. I'm sure I'm the only one who takes it out at the last second (yes, that has been after I realize it's still on after take-off), and then I've got no place to put it. It doesn't fit well in a pocket, and rarely do I have my case close enough to toss it in there.

So, a little Velcro has made me a happy man. I like just sticking it there, and it props up the controller nicely too.

Ahhhh... the little things... :)

Pretty good idea.
Don't even know where mine is anymore.
Once I got the backpack I noticed the foam in the bottom of the case holds the gimbal in place.
Mine no longer travels out of that back pack ever.

Kudos for original thinking!!!

A few weeks back, I took off and noticed the camera was jumping all around. I was thinking the Solo must be twitching like crazy for the gimbal to not be able to stabilize it. Landed, restarted everything, took off again only to have the same thing happen. Landed a second time only to discover...

I had never removed the foam from the gimbal.

Took it out and it was smooth sailing.
