Is it normal for the GoPro to stop recording when the Solo lands?

I've noticed that every time I land my Solo, the recording on the GoPro stops automatically. Is this normal? Is there a setting that controls this so I can have the recording continue regardless of the status of the Solo? I know the GoPro turns off when the Solo turns off, but I'm talking specifically about recording being stopped while the Solo is still powered up.

yep normal
it was set like that because people were powering off solo and thus gopro and it led to file corruption
