HDMI CABLE

Hello everyone
My HDMI cable broke off the printed circuit board sending it back to 3dr.
Am wondering if anyone else has had this trouble.
It seems to me that the HDMI cable is stiff and the gimbal moves it is like bending a wire back and forth till it breaks.

Hi Jay- welcome to the forum!

The stiff HDMI cable has been discussed here on many threads. I haven't heard of it actually breaking off the circuit board.

Some members have switched to a softer ribbon cable from www.3drelish.com. They are in Singapore so shipping can be slow but they are a reputable company.

There may be other sources for aftermarket cables but I can't think of any at the moment. If you search "HDMI" here you can read more about it.

I don't know but I doubt it. Would be pretty delicate work & might be prone to breaking again.

With proper tools and soldering skills everything is possible
