Has anyone tested a Telephoto Conversion Lens for GoPro?

Perhaps I missed it when searching, but does anyone have any experience with the telephoto conversion lenses I'm seeing for sale on amazon? My guess is that pink corners would not be an issue but weight would be...

Static mount could work for stills. I could see this being nice for certain applications. I like the ability to add filters. The "old school" photographer (we're talking 35mm film here) in me always kept at least a UV filter on my lenses for protection.

I'm thinking the weight may screw up the Gimbal, but those are cheaper (or were) than the above lens right now.
