Gimbal roll - can I get that "feeling of flying"?

Hi folks...

On a previous multirotor I built, I was able to tell the gimbal to "pan" (not the most intuitive word) with the roll of the multirotor. In other words, the gimbal would roll WITH the airframe (while still stabilizing/smoothing the roll).

This way I could create that "feeling of flying", as the video would roll smoothly left/right in left/right turns.

Is there a way to do that with the Solo's gimbal? Perhaps a parameter setting in Tower?

Thanks...

You mean coordinating! It'd be cool, but I'm not sure exactly how it would be done...

You want to do "Follow Roll" with smoothing, the same way a 3 axis gimbal does yaw follow with smoothing. The Solo gimbal is not open sourced *yet*. So there is no way to change it today. But I forsee that happening in the future.
