Gimbal issues

3rd flight with new solo and Gimball and getting red light on back of Gimball. Have contacted 3dr support and was told to cutoff and reset, only corrected until I was ready to fly again. Have viewed videos about same issues and have made sure wires were routed so that there were no issues. Alittle disappointed with issues after owning for such a short period of time. Any suggestions?

I had the same with my 1st Solo but it was so bad that as soon as the motors started the gimbal would go red & "limp". 3DR had me return the entire unit (drone & all) and shipped me a new one a few weeks back. It's been fine until a week ago when it did it again in flight after several take off & landings. I flew it again today and when I went to have it do an orbit the gimbal went "limp" again. I power cycled it on landing and it was fine for a while but crapped out again. I'll be contacting 3DR this week and send them the logs as well. Great product but bummed about the limp gimbal.
