Follow me mode question - follow terrain vs keep altitude

Struggling with Follow me mode (it may be a setting I am missing) - I'm looking for a "leash type" follow me mode that also changes altitude and keeps a fixed distance from me, rather than a fixed altitude. Here are two images describing visually what I need.

The Solo's follow modes will follow your mobile device's change in altitude only on the newer Apple devices that have a barometric altimeter built in. No other apple devices, and no android devices will do that.

I want to say Iphone 6 and above
but since I am not real versed in apple product I suggest you check the specs on the Apple phones to make a final determination

pretty much correct there. with the exception of the iPhone 6 SE (my device), iPhone 6 and above has a barometer.

what i found on the web: "The iPhone SE, unlike the iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPhone 6 Plus, doesn't have a barometer sensor in it."

Lot of DJI guys use the mini 4 for the size and screen brightness. To be more specific only the cellular version of the mini 4 has a barometer. Here's an old video showing dynamic altitude on Solo.

That's unfortunate Android gets no love. Every Android phone I've owned in the last 5 years has had a barometer.
