Central issues:

1. Min 16 years old/ speak English
2. No" overflight of nonparticipating people". ( up to operator discretion for safe setbacks)
3. Remote Pilot License-Aeronautical knowledge test only at FAA Test Center (available mid August).
4. TSA Check.
5. Accident reporting with property loss of $500, not including value of sUAS.
6. Transportation of goods for hire allowed.
7. Allowed to operate from boats but not airplane or vehicle.
8. No insurance requirement.
9. No requirement to coordinate with any airport in Class G! Just do not interfere with manned airplanes.
10. Central process being developed to operate in Class D,C,B (in that order).
11. Max altitude 400' unless inspecting a tall 1,000 ' structure, then stay within 400' of structure
12. Can train others for compensation or hire.
13. Register aircraft then fly.
14. Existing Part 61 pilots can take online training course to add rating mid August.
15. No action required for existing waiver holders; choose either Section 333 waiver or Part 107.
16. Pending waiver petitioners will be notified on docket that they can choose Part 107 with no action required, unless the petition is asking for Tier 2 or 3 ops (over 55 lbs., close to people, etc.)
