external GPS and ipad mini

I've been having an issue with orbit the map doesn't show. But only in a certain area, where it used to show now the map image doesn't show anymore. But when in other areas the map image shows. Any help?

Hi, i have a ipad mini 2 wifi only without built-in gps. Can I use an external blutooth gps or something to display and open the maps to make orbit in the app?

here is the type of options i´m talking about
GNS 1000 GPS BlueTooth Receiver for iPod, iPhone and iPad

Nope, don't but that GNS 1000. I have the newe model GNS 2000. It is jumpy jumpy the positioning data if signal is muli path. The algo is kinda poor.
GNS 2000 GPS GLONASS: GNS - Global Navigation Systems

Get Bad Elf Pro+ with barometer. I have that too. Cost much more, yep.
Bad Elf GPS Pro+

I will never need Neo 8 GPS chip :) Solo's original one is awesome

Caution.
I have not tried both the GNS2000 and the Bad Elf Pro+ using Apple iPad/iPhone and 3DR Solo via bluetooth.
I like Android better, but now that the altitude sensing can only run on Apple, I guess my GPS toys get to be useful when the time comes.

Fly safe
