If there is a clear open sky but the drone goes out of sight from a tree line or buildings will this lose connection of the drone even if there is clear sky?drone pic 1 22 17.png 2.png

Of course it will, Anything that degrades the connection between Solo & Controller can initiate a failed connection & from that point, Solo will go into "RTH" Return to home procedures.
If you don't understand, please read manual again or research here at 3DRPilots.

2.4GHz (the radio frequency Solo uses) on,y works line of sight. If there are trees between the controller and the aircraft the radio signal will be degraded. How much the signal is degraded depends on how thick the trees are. Doesn't take much to lose connection since there transmitters don't put out that much power.
