Controller White Screen

So here's the deal - controller has been fine for some time. Added new charged extended battery. Now when power button on controller is pressed or unit is plugged in to AC adapter controller screen is white. No battery charge showing. Battery works fine on another controller. Left controller unplugged for an hour and tried with extended battery, normal battery and just charger on bad controller and same issue..... Thoughts?
