After reading a number of posts on here about FPV I took the plunge and bought a Dominator HD2. Yes, more money than sense paired up with impulse control issues!

I have a Sony Xperia Z4 tablet running Android 5.0.2, unpowered USB to HDMI adaptor and HD2 goggles.

I may be a bit thick but the FatShark manual seems a bit light on detail, not even making it clear how to turn the unit on and off. Even so I've connected the goggles to the tablet and played with settings on the goggles and Throw, Cast and other apps on the tablet. All without a flicker of an image in the goggles.

Where am I going wrong?

Quick correction.

The MHL (USB to HDMI) adaptor is powered.

I have tested it with my HDMI TV and have successfully viewed my tablet's output on the big screen. When I connect the HD2 and switch to the HD 2D input all I see is a white screen.
