As for the green cube it is still in experimental phase. I will look into it when it changes to production
Does anybody know if using green cube we will have all existing solo functionality?

So, what will Pixhawk 2.1 do for me that the stock one doesn't do? Why do I need it?

you don't need it
if solo is fitting your needs then leave it be
the green cube is being offered on a strictly experimental basis
it will not run on the solo firmware and will require arducopter master.
I have one on order for my back up solo, and will move it over to master because I want to ride out solo to its final iteration. We aint getting nuttin new from 3DR
So might as well see what comes of solo on Master
Boat mode for sure.

Sort of hoping solex will get ported we will see

Is it possible, later, when someone has a good Pix 2.1 firmware arducopter master, worked out...me get to copy n paste ?
I dare not do this DIY, not when it comes to software/firmware.
