A Walkera drone was initially my first choice - before I actually ended up with Solo. Two things I liked about Walkera in general; a lot of people were hacking/modding those as well, AND they had retractable gear.

Walkeras' customer support sucks big time. If you complain about 3dr, Walkera will push you over the top.
I had dealings with them in the past. They wanted me to buy an additional item in order to send me a warranty part. They said they couldn't afford to send me the warranty part.

Hopefully the camera will be sourced by the oem instead of Walkera.
