Drones won't be the only source of WiFi!

I still wish 3dr hadn't chosen wifi for the Solo flight controls, then we wouldn't have such controller signal loss occurring so often. Wifi is rampant everywhere and is only getting more popular day by day.

if accurate, & only 10% are Solo's, that means 100K new Solo's! LOL

Don't don't really expect that many UAV's to be sold, I REALLY don't think 3DR can handle 100k production unit's. That had a hard time with what they produced to date.

as to WiFi, I agree. But time will tell with the new rules & regulations coming from FCC & FAA?
