    I would have full GPS lock and regardless my Solo would go RTH. Being that it was a HUGE liability issue I gave 3DR support the chance to fix it which they couldn't and sent it back. Saw a guy at the local drone races with a Solo and he had it go into RTH close range so it's still not fixed.

    I had this issue back in August and let 3DR know how to fix it. They blamed it on LG's Wifi. You'll need to use a separate device to update. Also get ready for constant disconnects at random while flying causing the Solo to RTL on it's own. This was such a safety issue I ended up returning it.

    I did a dispute through Paypal and won it, full refund for my Solo w/gimbal. Also followed up with a BBB complaint to which they never responded... not good for them. I wouldn't give them or 3DR a dime.

    My flying partner has an Inspire, talking about being envious. That beautiful Inspire video feed, range, and rock solid connection is nice however I can't get past the horrible support DJI has given me in the past (3DR is in this horrible support category as well).

    Updated, thanks for the reminder. I have an F550 w/Naza 2 which I can't complain about, it's been flying for nearing 2 years without a mishap. Any RTF from DJI is a customer nightmare just like any RTF from 3DR is. The APM on my Talon Tri however is fantastic.

    I'm done, got my RMA from 3DR and waiting on DSLR Pros to tell me where to send it. Back to flying home built video platforms and my ZMR250 racer until another worthy machine comes out. Anyone in Las Vegas want a 3DR Solo battery for 100 bucks, barely used!
