Generally, the wider the angle lens the less apparent vibration and apparent, or resolution sharpness (function of CoC - Circle of Confusion). Most lenses for Gopros are fixed at an f2.8, which is a challenge for most any economy lens (optimal aperture being around 4-5.6). The stock Gopro lens...

Also a good idea to use the foam insert (that comes with the gimbal new) when powered down, stored and traveling with or without the camera mounted. It supports the 2 axes that are imbalanced without the camera and guards it from shock during travel.

I've done some low altitude testing (under 100') around my yard and nearby Macdonald park, but working on a project south of the border. Rules are a little looser down there.
