Adding new camera to Tower ? not working - NEED HELP

Since the latest version of Tower does not rely on 3DR services, I had to create a 3DRServices folder in root with a CameraInfo sub-folder. Then my Peau Lens camera profiles were listed and available for creating survey missions.

The Solo Gimbal and the Code that Drives it. Hmmm....

DIY can be expensive, but enormously satisfying too. Awesome when it works, but of course, frustrating when it doesn't. I have 3 heavy lift birds under my belt ( > 4Kg payload) and 8 racing/acrobatic quads. The Solo was my first prosumer aircraft and I love it for the features and OOB...

    Success! Reading smart battery data

My thought was to create a "bridge" device and use existing off-the-shelf LiPo/LiHV packs. The bridge would use an Arduino to monitor and communicate voltage levels, capacity and other metrics via the SMBus protocol to the Solo. The bridge device could be used with any LiPo/LiHv battery that...

    Success! Reading smart battery data

Would love to try a larger capacity LIHV battery such as the following 6600mah pack: MultiStar LiHV High Capacity 4S 6600mAh Multi-Rotor Lipo Pack Only 32g heavier than the specifications for the 3DR pack, 1400mah of additional capacity, and... a longer run because of the LiHV technology. I am...

Finally. The Ability To Change The Colors of Solo's Lights. Solex!

Now, for a little bit of fun - some experimental lighting I have been playing with.

Finally. The Ability To Change The Colors of Solo's Lights. Solex!

Yep. I have have noticed the trend, especially with DJI products, of red/front - green/rear, which I find obnoxious. White/front - red/rear is also a popular combination - which I think is more intuitive for most beginning pilots since this mimics automobile lighting, and I think the default...

Finally. The Ability To Change The Colors of Solo's Lights. Solex!

Yes, exactly, although I usually have the port/starboard navigation lights installed on middle or rear of the aircraft and angled forward. My "non standard" rear lighting is amber, which is easily visible in bright sunlight. There are very practical considerations to UAV lighting which I hope...

Finally. The Ability To Change The Colors of Solo's Lights. Solex!

I grew up on Lake of the Ozarks. One of the first lessons my dad taught me as a kid was determining the direction of other watercraft and the proper procedures for yielding right of way. I still remember him teaching me with red/left/port (short words), green/right/starboard (long words) to...

Finally. The Ability To Change The Colors of Solo's Lights. Solex!

I agree that it might not meet aviation requirements, however... still be very useful. Almost every aircraft I have built includes "aviation lighting", but primarily so I maintain orientation of the aircraft in flight. At even short distances, the orientation of a 250mm quad can be extremely...
