Has anyone else tried one of the 4.2's, I've ordered one but wondering with the Chinese new year how long it'll take to get here so may be a while yet. Also does anyone have any recommendations for stabilization software that's doesn't cost an arm and a leg???

Totally agree with this, I've just ordered one if the 4.2's as I'm not prepared to be held over a barrel by them and although the price has recently dropped from $200 to $140 give it another couple of months and one of the other manufacturers will copy it and it'll be $55 ... and I'll buy it...

What's the difference between using one with f2.0 against an f2.8, there are quite a few 4.35mm ones available that are supposedly 12 MP which seems quite appealing should it give better DOF or is it going to speed up the shutter speed even more and show up more vibrations.

When you say it's a 16mp lens does that mean you'll actually be capturing 16mp or will the camera limit it to the normal 12mp???? Any idea's on good stabilization software as well for a PC ........ ideally free but realise may have to pay for something to be half decent????
