I just recently bought the hero 4 silver so I don't think I'm going to be buying a hero 4 black anytime soon.

I still haven't gotten around to the mod with the foam but I have noticed that the gimbal doesn't look balanced with the correct weights and a hero 4 silver. When placed facing directly down with no power it returns to facing parallel with the ground which I believe is not correct.

Thanks for the advice, would ear plugs work for the foam? Also where could I find the data cable mod?

Yeah the small weights are on and it still vibrates.

How would you go about looking at this, do you just have to fly and download the logs?

It could just be less windy but I put a piece of foam on top of the gimbal loosely just to see if it worked similar to this video: so that the hdmi cable would touch that and it's a lot smoother so I may put a more permanent piece of foam. Maybe I will try and strip the wire since that seems...

Thanks for the suggestions but I noticed today my gimbal was making a high pitched noise while I was hovering it close to the ground. Could this be an unbalanced GoPro? Or is something wrong with it?

Did you ever figure out what was causing the vibrations?

I watched the videos and it does not look nearly as shaky as mine. I feel like it has to be a problem with the gimbal because of just how shaky the footage is.

Alright I'm pretty sure my gimbal is balanced when my hero4 silver is in it stays in all the positions except when tilted towards the ground. Underneath the dampener balls are in. After removing the battery case it seems like the hdmi cable would not be interfering with the gimbal but the data...

The winds were just over ten miles per hour and sometimes it takes butter smooth shots but most of the time it's this shaky. How can I fix this?
